Is it safe to standby PS4?

Yes, all three options are checked. But I guess none of these should interfere with turning on the console from standby. Now that you mention it, I guess I'll try different settigs for standby, or try to turn it on from the PlayStation App.

what method are you using to put it in standby?   the controller or tapping the button on the console?

I'm doing it from the menu, guess I'll call Sony, now it won't turn back on at all: when I press the power button the blue line appears for like one second and then it goes off.
