Shadows of Mordor and Assassin's Creed Comparison

Same kind of game and definitely inspired by AC, at least in certain areas, but--really, how many different ways are there to climb? Climbing upwards is similar but not exactly the same. Moving sideways on a ledge, though, I've seen that done in dozens of games.
