This got me thinking about something, and anyone who's an expert on Roman torture-killings correct me if I'm wrong...I was watching a show a few years ago(on History Channel I believe), and they mentioned a particularly cruel method of torture and execution. The show said they would take a person, tie them to the floor, and strap a corpse to them. As the body began to rot, the rot would spread to the living person, causing them to rot alive.
Disgusting as hell, but this story reminded me of that.
