@Weazel - yeah, their focus on the developer is really paying off.  i swear there's an argument to be made that the ps3's failure was the best thing that ever happened to playstation.

I would also argue that the way Sony dealt with it was the best thing that could happen to the gamers.

ps3 did hurt sony financially but...

...they answered with a lot of investment in psn and 1st party studios, ps+, gaikai/psnow, psvita (which despite its low sales is an awesome peice of hardware), ps4 being a great peice of hardware with a great OS at a great price, indies leaving MS for playstation in droves due to developer focus.   sony really responded to adversity quite well in the end.
