The whole JP issue is that if MS ever reached moderate succuess, and ever got 30% of the 50,000,000 consoles sold per generation, MS could garner 15-17.5m sales alone in Japan.
Add in 30-40m from the US, and 20-30m from Europe, and you have near that 90m range.
