while i feel naughty having taken over the whole world with dem germanz, i've just played another 3 hours (damn that game!) without any problem whatsoever. what happened in addition though is windows installed 133 updates since yesterday. (yeah, seriously.) but whatever has caused my system to run can stay without paying rent for the rest of the system's lifespan. however if anything happens i'll post all the logs i can find.

(still curious though, how can tiny changes have such an impact? and why is it working for others with similar hardware without changes? PC WHY U SO COMPLICATED)
