When I was a kid I had this weird thing where I thought I was only allowed to have one system at a time. I don't know where the idea came from, but it really persisted. I sold my Genesis when I got a SNES, though I didn't regret that. But then I sold my N64 when I got a PS1, which was really dumb, and I ended up buying another one down the line. And then I sold my PS2 before getting a Gamecube, and also had to buy that again later! I was a really dumb kid...

But people who sell their young systems because there aren't any games baffle and infuriate me. Like, they can't be bothered to look at the projected release schedule of a system before getting it, and then they can't scrape together enough brains to realize that the system would have games eventually. I always think, do you seriously have enough money to throw around that you can buy a system without thinking about it and just as easily chuck it when it stops entertaining you for too long a period? People should know what they're getting into when they buy at launch by now. Sheesh.
