Games that people/critics were too harsh on?

Homefront- I thought the MP mode was fun as hell whatever little I played.

Do Starhawk and Twisted metal count as games that were critically palmed..because commercially they were I actually love both of those games and Starhawk counts as one of my favorite games of all time.
