1) Market the fuck out of the Wii U. Do everything I can to change its image. The public will know of its free online, cheaper price, better-than-last-gen graphics, unique gameplay experiences, and that it really isn't an add-on but in fact a new console for a new generation. Every game I'd like to see sell a lot will receive advertisements that target the audience it's after. Nintendo Direct won't be the only place to find out about something like Wii Fit U anymore.

2) Get the fucking ball rolling with online. The world wants Nintendo to have a decent online experience. There's no excuse for games like Pikmin to not have online multiplayer. Patch that shit with some free DLC. Super Mario 3D World too. Future games will have online play wherever it would be fun to have it, no more solely focusing on local multiplayer. If we have to start charging for online, fine, but it'll be cheaper than the competition, because let's be realistic, it's not like it'll be that huge at first.

3) No more family-friendly-only image. Time to start making some mature games. This doesn't mean blood and gore, it just means the games can handle more serious issues and appeal to the senses of people who aren't kids at heart. I love games like that, but not everyone does, and there's just too much money to be made on serious games to not have them be part of the Nintendo experience. If my developers can't handle it, get someone who can. Disney seemed to struggle with mature movie content, so what did they do? Bought Marvel and Star Wars. Didn't stop them from making Frozen, did it? We at Nintendo can do the same with games. Get a western developer to start work on games with a more serious tone, while we keep doing what we do best with the E rated and T rated games. Make sure the marketing is such that our family friendly content is marketed to a family friendly audience and the more serious content reaches a more adult gamer audience. If we want the Wii U to return to its goal of uniting the casual and hardcore, young and old, etc., providing for all audiences, then we need to in fact provide something for every audience, not just content for general audiences. We also need to be sure to target multiple audiences with our marketing, not just kids and their parents.

4) Let's make a strong start with China. We can't let another major market get dominated by a competitor. Make some content that appeals there, do some research. Maybe make a Pokemon gen take place there, with cultural references and whatnot. Figure out what games they like and make a new IP tailored to them that releases there first.

5) Go after third parties aggressively. For this gen, show them what only Wii U can do, and try to get them to make something unique for it. Might have to pay the first time for it, and market the hell out of it so that it succeeds, and use it as evidence to get other third parties making unique exclusives. For next gen, start now to see what third parties want to see in the next system. I'm sure we can innovate and bring new game experiences while also taking into account what will be helpful to major third party developers so they can develop on our system.

6) Fix the fucking retailer situation. Especially in Europe. I don't care what we have to do, if many retailers don't carry our products, they just aren't going to sell much, so get them to sell it. And no more of these advertisements that emphasize the PS4 and XBOne versions of multiplats, but not Wii U. No more of this crap where you can preorder games at major retailers on every system except Wii U, even though Wii U is getting the game. Sick of that shit. Figure out why it's happening and correct it. Third parties and retailers can't push us around like that and then blame us when our products don't sell, or their products don't sell on our system.

7) Be more aggressive. Please understand, bitches.
