Planetside 2 was the first MMO I've enjoyed in nearly a decade. Its team-centric, well-balanced gameplay and unusually reasonable F2P model won me over, even though I profoundly suck at any multiplayer shooter not built on the Source engine.
But truly, this thread is about EverQuest Next. The largest sandbox MMO yet, and one featuring a Minecraft-esque world building mechanic dubbed "Landmark". And this is awesome, because I'm a huge Minecraft fan. And it's also awesome because the MMO genre needs a shot in the arm, and this could very well be it.
Damn. I'm even thinking about buying one of the Founder's Packs. Maybe if I stop buying Steam and eShop games for a few months, I can afford Trailblazer satus! :D
I actually have a lot more interest in EQNext than The Elder Scrolls Online. :/ Which is wierd, because I've never played Everquest before, and I like Elder Scrolls.
