Good luck to them though. I enjoy these mid-class game kickstarter campaigns. I like seeing indies taking that mantle now that it seems undoable for larger companies cause they cant manage themselves.

The budget is MUCH higher than that.

The developer has already put 1.5 million into the game. They have an investor willing to pay for the rest as long as this Kickstarter reaches its goal.

Overall budget will be between 6 - 7 million so compareable to Witcher 2 minus the cost of building their engine.

I see. Well, the Witcher 2 is a special case cause its from Poland and people get payd alot less there. Dunno where these guys are from.

Unfortunely we already have the example of a game of this type going wrong (2 worlds), so im not holding my breath. I have only seen Bethesda and Obsidian doing this kind of game right. Good luck to them though.
