Games that people/critics were too harsh on?

I'll say Metroid: Other M! Sure, the story was terrible but I don't really play Metroid games for the story. It did limit your exploration but so did Fusion and most people seem to like that one. I found the regular combat challenging which you can't really say about some of the others in the series. Having to hold up the Wii remote to charge your blaster really sucked though.
