Honestly, the pace of this turns me off. It seems like it's going to totally be a case of first one to see the other wins. Keep moving, moving, moving and hope to come up behind someone before someone comes up behind you. Some people are going to love that but it's not for me.
The funny thing is, though I really dislike mecha, the mecha combat is the most interesting to me. Seems like it will be a lot more tactical, which is what I prefer.
