How is it overhyped (at this point) when you agree it deserves GOTY? a game getting numerous GOTY awards is more indicating to the year's poor quality than the game's quality itself. It's wrong to assume this means its the best game ever.

Well this is when my own personal bias comes in... TLOU is not my personal GOTY, though I can respect it as such due to its narrative. I find it overrated from the prospective of putting it as GoTG, which I have heard quite a lot. Though I attribute this somewhat due to the hype that surrounds the game currently, which is why I said it's overhyped.
