Could Wii Fit suck?

With my third point I was trying to make you see, that if this wont sell well, why would people have to stand in lines?

You say a fad lasts 6 months? Then I could call most PS3 titles fads. They never sell for more than 4 months. The only ones I can recall are Motorstorm, Resistance and Uncharted.

Your definition of fad doesnt make sense.

Yeah, a lot of people bought a Wii for Wii Sports. Wii Sports is brilliant fun for up to four people at once. The same cannot be said for WiiFit.

I mentioned that the Wii's supply constraint will work against this title. It's hard to build up momentum for a title when people still can't find the console. It's doubly hard to build momentum when that title is squarely aimed at the casual demographic.

I said "fads can last six months", not "fads last six months". Amazing what one little word can do for a sentence.

The Pet Rock, Hypercolor shirts, Beany Babies, and Cabbage Patch dolls say "hi". All of those were massively popular for up to a year before fading into obscurity.
