Pretty much. Their entire strategy seems to be optimize PS3 engines for it for easy porting of J games in the future that are still landing on PS3 and use free PSN advertising and hope that they catch the next big thing having so many smaller indie games. I do hope that eventually it does yeild them the next Minecraft cause it would take 18 months to 2 years to develop a title proper from any of it's larger western studios and its already well past too late.
To be on topic I wouldnt mind seeing beyond. If you want to do crazy non real gameplay stuff it bet it would be great on something with all those inputs. It can make it more emotional or some shit I'm sure Cage might say and the Walking Dead titles are kinda similar and people say they work well there.
