They were in trouble in 2012.
AMD is a turn around story and they don't happen over night. Give it some time.
In 2012 they posted a net loss of $1.18 billion or -$1.60 per share.
In 2013 this is a net loss of $83 million or -$0.11 per share.
Still a loss, but if you ask me.. AMD is one of the most impressive turn arounds of 2013.
