Totally disagree, there are a plehora of ways to improve in this franchise, the game has a tonne of untapped potential. I actually preferred the first infamous. The open world gameplay has a lot of untapped mechanics they could easily add/improve.

Have you seen so far any indication of new territory this game has over the previous games?
So far the only thing I've seen is better diestruction. And that for the price of boring powers, a douche protagonist and a less interesting city to explore.

WOW massive assumptions here. !: They only showed 1 power because they don't want them spoiled (Sucker Punch has said this). Less interesting city?? totally disagree there, why is it less interesting do you know how they have populated said city? You played it?
Every site including IGn has raved about it, even staff memebrs who were not big fans of 1 and 2. Quite frankly, you are mkaing up baseless assumtptions about the game.

Well I can only make assumptions since it is not released ;) The 10 minute gameplay clip I have seen made it look quite boring(compared to the other games).
They showed 2 powers so far. But as I said befor, nothing can beat electrical power, which made the previous games that awesome. There might still be a chance that they bring it back later in the game. If not then I can already see myself not enjoying it as much.
I only need to look on a map to see that a flooded New Orleans has more variety than some Seattle.
That Deslin is a major douche should also be already established by all the trailers.
I have very low expectations, which is good because it gives the game a chance to surprise me in a positive way.

Nothing you said changes my points, you are making gross assumptions, as you progress you get more powers, Sp has stated they dont want to show more...... Gameplay will greatly evolve, have you played infamous before?
Deslin a douche?? Another assumption you have no idea how the charcter progresses as the astory goes on nor is that much of any factor in a games success.

Yes I've played both Infamous games multiple times. There is progress in the powers but nothing that changes gameplay fundamentally.
What's so wrong with impressions? It's not like I have played the game so that's the only thing anyone has so far.
And I'm telling you that my impressions so far are that it's not as fun as the previous games. I don't expect anything that would elevate this game above what I've experienced in the previous games. If it surprises me, good for me and good for the game. If not, nothing lost.
