I think that a big reason why many VG Chartzers hold John Lucas in high regard is because he's a friendly, charming, all around good guy. He happily welcomes healthy debate, and never goes negative when faced with detractors. John genuinely likes his fellow posters, and I think it shows in his posts.
Right or wrong, crazy or no, I just can't help but like the guy. You can chalk me up as a JL fanboy.
