It sold best at Ocarina because that was the first 3D Zelda, it was a huge shift, it was entirely different, it was somthing to talk about. Ofcourse it would sell more. It sold more than Majora's Mask, which had even more darker and sophisticated world and story. And twilight princess? That became the best selling Zelda for multiple reasons. Many were excited for a shift in art style after WindWaker, The hype for the game was phenominal, and it launched aside the Wii, the best selling launch week ever on record prior to the PS4 and Xbox One.
