Pretty big rant for a game that is not released and we know nothing about yet. 3 things:

1. When it comes out with whatever art style people will say it looks amazing
2. No matter how it plays, people will say it plays amazing.
3. When it is released Eiji will be satisfied with his own product.

You don't know what happened behind the scenes of other games you love. But you don't care because you don't know and just assume that the creators had all the freedom(which is probably not true). If you think this is the first time a producer took steps to limit the creativity of his team you are naive.
He is a producer. His job is not only that the game is good but also that the game will appeal to its target audience. Deal with it.
