Shame the article fails to point out its about $2000 cheaper to release on Xbox One. Microsoft don't charge $2500 for a dev kit like Sony. Why did the article miss that off? I expect from this year onwards Xbox One to be the console of choice for Indies due to less costs, meaning the OP will be a moot point.

Neither Sony... Indies received devkits for free from both... after that you paid for addiction devkit.

BTW the MS devkit for $500 doesn't exists yet... the Xbone is not a devkit yet.
