Yeah, this is where region lock sucks. Although I'm still a while off getting a 3DS, Rune Factory 4 was one of the games I was planning on picking this up alongside Bravely Default and Tales of Abyss.
Oh well. I'm sure it'll be emulated at some point in the near future.
