Hm.

Domestic Box Office Results for 2011

#2. Transformers: Dark of the Moon: $352.4 million
#3. Breaking Dawn Part I: $281.3 million

#49. Hugo: $73.9 million
#71. The Artist: $44.7 million

By toastboy logic, Bayformers and Twilight are higher quality cinema than universally acclaimed films that get nominated for and even win major Oscars. Sorry, but just like how Scorcese's films will always be better than Bay's films or films about sparkly vampires regardless of box office returns, so to will good games be better than bad games regardless of quality. When it comes to art and entertainment, sometimes crap sells (just look at 99.9% of popular music today) while sometimes genuinely good content gets overlooked. Quality is no guarantor of commercial success and vice versa.

thankyou

I dont like any movies to be honest but I never even heard of hugo and the artist

At the very least they were better than Transformers and Twilight by miles..even though if they weren't that great.
