Did Sony really pull in all these Console Sales or did Microsoft just push them away?

Seriously though it's too soon to make any judgments on the impact of the PS4's extra power. Multi-plat developers are still getting into the swing of things and Ryse/KZ:SF are pretty much the entire list of exclusive we can compare for graphical capabilities, and even then they are both worlds apart (fps/3rd person, art styles, etc). We don't have a big enough sample size yet.

Xbox One version looks brighter and better. PS4 version is darn and you can't see details. Go Xbox One!

If by better you mean brighter, flatter, more washed out, and poorer fine detail, then sure it's "better".

Lmao, You guys just proved my point.   It's so marginal do you really think your average person gives a crap.  It's Call of Duty.  Both dominated the sales charts on PS3 and Xbox 360.  Unless one looked way worse then the other its pretty irrelevent.  The Wii U version of Ghosts looks better  then the 360 and PS3 versions (I compared the 2 on 2 of the same TV's side by side, that I will stick by), and no one bought it.

Well only because one of us is assessing the images objectively and the other defensively. Hint I'm doing it objectively.

But showing stills is stupid because people don't experience video games as a series of static pictures they can look at for a few minutes and pick out all flaws, both obvious and subtle, assess the extent of pixelation, analyse the quality of the anti-aliasing, examine the textures, etc. If you had a random selection of people playing PS4 and Xb one versions of whatever that game is (I don't recognise it but I assume it's either BF4 or DoD:G) using identical controllers, then only a handful would be able to tell you which is the better looking game. Especially if you didn't tell them that the purpose of the exercise is to assess which game looks better. 

I think the larger point, that the consoles can deliver comparable visual quality, even if PS4 version will typically be better when subject to rigorous analytical scrutiny, means the spec pissing contest is largely irrelevant when taken in isolation for the general consumer. But when factoring in price a few more people will care, but only those who have done research and found out that in general PS4 will deliver better visuals for multiplatform games. For most people the extent of their research will be to ask the clerks at the store they're buying the console in, and those people will be heavily influenced by their personal bias if they are gamers, or they won't have a clue because they just work there. Even if answering honestly the store clerk who favours Xb one might say something like "the graphics quality is very similar", which true relative to Wii U and PS360 (in terms of being better) and relative to gaming PC (in terms of being worse). The clerk who favours PS4 might say "Ps4 is noticably better" which is also true when subject to technical analysis.

Depending on the motivation of the clerk a consumer who is pretty much neutral can be convinced to buy either PS4 or Xb one based on honest but biased advice.
