There's actually nothing at the moment to suggest Vita's imminent demise or removal from sale. It's 150% up year on year in Japan.
I fear rumours of Vita's death are being greatly exaggerated in order to feel better about the fact that it's direct rival's manufacturer is already suggesting a change of direction in their own business.
RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
