Because I had seen an inordinate amout of ZOMG Titalfall is gonna be AMAZINZF!!!! Type post/threads.

Infamous is not nearly as "worshipped" by its own fanboy base, but it too falls into the "hyped more because its exclusive" category. Fact is fanboys could give 2 sh!ts about multiplats. For instance Fanboy X who owns a PS4 might not care about AC4, but if AC5 was announced as exclusive to PS4 he would instantly become a HUGE AC fan making post here every day or 2 about how awsome it was going to be and how AC5 being exclusive to the PS4 was going to make MS discontinue the XB1.

IMO AC4 is the best game available currently for next gen consoles, but people have missed it because they want to so badly to enjoy clunkers like Forza, Ryse, Killzone, and Knack.

I'm more "Pro Microsoft" than I am "Pro Sony".  I bought inFamous the day it came out and I thought it sucked ass.  Didn't finish it and didn't get the sequel.  I think the PS4 inFamous looks pretty good.  I'd buy it.  On the flipside, when I get my Xbox One, I won't give Titanfall a second look unless I somehow enjoy the demo.  I'm more excited about other Xbox One games.

I don't think it comes down to fanboyism.  In this instance, I think the games just happen to be good looking even though they're "exclusive".  That's just me, though.  And yeah, I've seen both camps automatically hype any exclusive they find.  Rockstar's Agent was game of the year material when allll we ever saw was a logo.  There was some Xbox 360 title that got hyped all to shit until people found out it was just some Live Arcade Game.  I'm not saying it's not the case.  I'm just saying this time it might not be the case.
