Slim to none. Wii U won't be able to stay on the market as long as PS3, and will never have the third party support that PS3 had. Nintendo need a machine that hits a wider market like the Wii in order to be properly successful: Wii U will never have the visibility or accessibility to be that device, even as the price comes down. Unless Nintendo come up with a new market expansion idea, Wii U will be a niche device were profitability comes from achieving relatively high volumes of first party software sales. And I can't see Nintendo coming up with a good piece of market expansion software, because they haven't had a true new idea like that since 2008.
