He has a serious problem for sure. He feels guilty if he leaves a game store without buying anything and he goes into game stores on a very regular basis.

Did you know that if games aren't adopted within a certain amount of time, they are "put to sleep"?  I'v seen a copy of Nintendogs (well, it may have been an actual dog.  I drink a lot.) get put down.  At that moment, I realized my calling in life was to save as many games as possible.
