Vita first party(developped by Sony) confirmed for 2014 :

- Freedom Wars
- Soul Sacrifice Delta( otherwise, Smash Bros U wouldnt be first party because it's developped by Namco too )
- Oreshika 2 ( you surely dont know what this game is to say it's not first party, it's 100% made by sony Japan)

Wii U first party confirmed for 2014 :

- DK : TF
- Mario Kart
- X
- SSB

Well, now you say it...I took only the exclusives but it's the same thing than SSB i think, is SSB really exclusive to Wii U ? after all, it is almost the same game than 3DS version with visual/performance difference and few different levels

Wait, Soul Sacrifice and Smash Bros count as first-party titles because they're being published by Nintendo/Sony, even though they're being developed by a third party. Do I have that right? Usually people refer to that as a second-party title, but I don't see the need for a distinction in this case, and evidently neither do you. What I want to know is, what's the difference between Soul Sacrifice and Bayonetta 2 or Hyrule Warriors?

Smash Bros is mostly being developed by Namco, but the director is Masahiro Sakurai, who has no affiliation with them. He doesn't technically work for Nintendo, but he doesn't technically work for anyone -- he's his own boss. It's a pretty funny story, but the gist of it is that Sakurai started his own company called Sora Ltd. and he is the only employee. He works almost exclusively with Nintendo, though, and he seems to be friends with Iwata. So although most of the dev team is Namco staff, the director is sort of a Nintendo pseudo-staffmember. Just a little trivia.

Another clarification, while you're right that the Wii U and 3DS versions of Smash Bros 4 are "almost the same game," you're wrong about them having a "few different levels." So far, all revealed stages but two are exclusive to either version. These two stages are Final Destination and Battlefield, staples of the Smash Bros series that have remained essentially unchanged since their introduction. Brawl contained 41 different stages, so I'd say we are most likely looking at 30 or more unique stages per version, with probably only two common stages. When you consider the genre, the stages aren't all-important, but that's still a significant amount of unique game content in each version.

This all feels horribly off-topic, yet I'm not surprised to see the Wii U being brought up in a thread meant to be about the Vita. I assume a fellow Nintendo fan is responsible for this, and I apologize on his or her behalf.

I expect Sony will really push the Vita's remote play functions and its ability to stream Playstation Now. Maybe some more PS4 games supporting cross-buy and some indie games. I don't expect many big new exclusives.
