I know.  I guess I thought when people actually went through the trouble of finding this site and then registering to the forums, they wanted to discuss sales.  I guess I forget that VGC is the only gaming site on the internet.  I'll have to remember that next time.

How hypocritical.  As if the Wii U all of a sudden blasted off, Nintendo fans wouldn't be boasting about sales, as well as poking fun at the Sony and MS fans who said the Wii U was dead and thee's really not much that can save it.  And no one wants Nintendo to fail to the point where they go out of business, they are just happy their console is on top.  Also, I wouldn't say they exactly took the crown for the whole gen, since the Wii started to decline greatly midway through the gen, and the PS3 is going to up extremely close to the Wii's sales.  They just borrowed it for a few years. 


There is a huge middle ground between being interested in something and being excited.

I mean honestly, I am interested because the industry seems like a huge necessary paradigm shift is coming and no one really knows how to get ahead of the curve. 

And the majority of those of you who are "excited" are just excited because you want to rub it in someone's face with carte blanche, which is extra pathetic.
