I'm split between Modern Warfare and Uncharted 1.

COD4:MW - Insane graphics at the time...the opening scene was amazing. The atmosphere of the game was the best id ever experienced at that point in time, the blend between gameplay and atmosphere was a first in the industry imo. Also..who will ever forget the sniping mission? Camouflage so good that even the player couldnt see the characters on the screen laying the grass! To add to all of that the gameplay was good, the story was good, the missions were varied! Everything about the game was awesome. I think people forget that it was actually the single player experience that really got the whole COD craze going. Then the MP just elevated that craze to a whole new level.

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune - Again insane graphics and amazing atmosphere. I must have spent at least a few hours just watching Nathan Drakes clothes dry O_O This game took cinematic gaming to a level that was never achieved before imo. In fact i think Uncharted has come to define the sub genre. Nowadays gamers expect a good story, good characters, good voice acting, awesome action scenes etc. This game, along with COD:MW and Gears probably had the biggest impact on the industry as a whole and really set the tone for the generation and the industry wide shift towards cinematic games.
