Yeah, the PS3 was and still is fantastic.

Well I'm enjoying mine still and I will continue for years to come :). Its not the greatest console ever, as other consoles had a bigger impact on the gaming industry. The PS3 taught Sony some lessons they needed to learn so that's a good thing.
