O_o If you already have a Playstation device pr Playstation Now enabled device (like one of those special Bravia TVs) there's no hardware cost for you. The only cost is the monthly subs. What I wonder is how many PS3 servers they'll need to cope with global demand, once it's available globally.
What's good is that it seems streaming will be fine on ADSL broadband, so no need for ultra-fast, or even very fast broadband to be able to play.
So with PS Now being useable on so many devices does that mean Vita TV is dead? I was considering Vita TV because there are PSP and PSV games I want to play, but I don't want to buy either handheld. But with PS Now, since I have PS3 and will be getting PS4 this means I'll be able to play all those handheld games through my PS3/4 right? PS now with PS4 controller should make more PSV games playable. I do wonder if Sony will come out with an el cheapo tablet controller to go with Vita TV / PS Now so that all PSV games can be playable through those mechanisms. Though that would cause PSV to really die. Then again Sony could replace Vita with something that's largely a gutted Vita with just the same interfaces, with all games either being streamed from your PS4/3/VitaTV/TV or via your smartphone/tablet through a PS Now app.
