Indeed. I was wondering what was keeping it so long but I think they needed to get this piece of news out the way first.
However it being Iwata, he would just pretend nothing major is happening and carry out the same old boring process.
People hate me for saying it but I found 2013's NDs depressing most of the time. The only people that usually watch them probably already own a wii u or 3DS.
This time however I think a lot more people (including a lot of gaming reporters) will be tuning in to hear what he has to say.
I really hope he realises this and at least try to reach people with some telling revelations.
