The reason 2 for nintendo is nonsense. I buy Nintendo games because they dont drop in price. I dont want to feel like an idiot just to see the same game 50% off 2 months later. Third party and their idiotic pricing policy and their I ONLY WANT SHORT TERM PROFIT IF A GAME DOES NOT SELL WITHIN ITS FIRST 3 MONTHS THEN IT FAILED mentality fucked up the whole industry. (because their shitty shareholders are the SHORT TERM PROFIT assholes. Fuck stock exchange...it destroys everything)
SNES games did not drop in prices during the first 6 months. I mean how is it possible that I can buy stuff like Bioshock Infinite for 5 bucks a year after it came out? There is NO reason to pay more than 5 bucks because it will end up at 5 bucks anyway. The only games I buy fullprice are Nintendo or "rare" jrpgs that wont be available forever.
