Sony merely mitigated the massive discrepancy between the US 360vPS3 market share. As long as they are even in the same conversation, Sony is thrilled, they know their global share will outpace the Xbone from day 1.
Go look at 360 year 1 NPD vs PS3 year 1 NPD. Now compare that to today.
