ioi post add up 2.9m... MS said over 3 million... and some numbers he showed didn't match with some trackers. 

Yep, it's like famousmortimer said, it was really ~2.8M.

Congrats to MS.  Of course, I doubt the gap is that large.  And I'm sure Sony would have beat them if they had actually been able to get out more consoles.  It's cool, though.  Xbox fans can have this one.  MS needs to focus on the US, where they actually seem to stand a chance, while Sony can have the world.
