Grand Theft Auto 4 to ship 6 million copies first week.

I guess for me, I'm just looking at it this way:

08' Year End Installed Bases (Estimates):
360: Around 25 million
PS3: Around 22 million

Total: 47 million

9 million copies sold would be 19.15% Attach rate...I just don't think it will have that high of an attach rate.

And then, you probably cut that installed base by 25% or more because of people that own BOTH consoles...they'll only get it one one of them (like me).

So then, you're looking at a total of 35 million potential buyers...then you have a 25.5% attach rate.  Just seems high to me.

But, I could very well be wrong.  I actually hope it does really well.
