Show me where I said that trophies were better than games themselves.

I couldnt say that even if I wanted to because its impossible as they are not mutually exclusive as mentioned previously....to get trophies, I need to play games...so at the very least, I would be doing what you enjoy (playing the games), I would just be going 1 step further with trophies.

I have already shown you where I said it was a 'plus' and a 'feature'

Backpedalling more, I see..

Even if I showed you a post that you found games to be a redundant chore to trophies, or that your views were similar to mine, the INITIAL ARGUMENT STILL REMAINS UNCHANGED. How does liking trophies any level more/less than games change the fact that you took a picture way too seriously? How does it change that you attempted some kind of "team mentality" defense by wanting to push them onto Nintendo owners (which is completely off, since Nintendo wasn't mentioned anywhere, but then again, you seem to try to drag any old random thing to constitue into your arguments)?

As I've already mentioned that several posts before when you accused me of "not liking games", I'll assume that you're not reading replies fully. Either that, or you've hit your limit of what previous posts you can remember, we've already established that that was a problem for you two posts ago...

Trust me, some "games" that contain trophies are an incredibly loose definition...

It's a plus and a feature, but apparently you wish to force it onto a group of users who 1. Don't seem to be kicking up much of a fuss about not having it, and 2. Probably tried it on another console and found it wasn't for them. I've given arguments on how it can affect games negatively, and therefore make it more of a 'minus' than a 'plus'. You chose to igore those points, and go straight to accusing me of not liking games if I didn't like trophies. If you wanted to avoid all of this, maybe you should have taken those points into consideration, instead of digging yourself deeper and needing to backpedal out of it...

Have you ever herd about the donkey and the carrot? The only difference is youre giving youreself a carrot to chase and by the looks of it, you will continue to do so forever.

If you feel the burden of it being forced on you then go and complain to sony about it, theres nothing I can do to help you.

My brother doesnt like trophies either, he just hides the notifications and never looks at the trophy list, its really that simple to ignore it if you dont like it.

oh and did I mention, he plays games just like me!...except I play them more to collect the trophies, easter eggs, secret endings and whatever else may be included with a game...if you dont like doing that, then no-one is forcing you to carry on playing past a certain point, its up to you whether you want to or not.

If I find it fun and challenging to do so, I do it, sometimes I dont, because its not compulsory to get every single trophy, no-ones gonna shoot you if you dont do it.

First I thought there maybe something I could say to end this, but theres no way im accepting that trophies negatively impact games because of the ridiculous reasons you gave before.

I will keep stating the truth that its an add-on bolted to games after its development is complete.

You're at it again, transposing arguments and forgetting which side is the one with the problem. Let me fetch this, since it's obvious that you've forgotten it already:

If only Nintendo gamers had the joy of collecting trophies for all of their games....which I just found out they dont.

Ca you tell me how this becomes a problem to me that I should talk to Sony about? It is you, after all, that seems to have the problem with Nintendo NOT having them...as I stated in a previous argument, there are most likely valid explanations for that, if the consumers aren't talking much about missing it...

Congratulations, you solved the aesthetics problem, now on to the other several that you decided to ignore. Keep at it, we could actually be on to something sometime in the next month...

Do I like easter eggs and hidden endings? Sure. Would I prefer to find them myself, instead of it being hinted? Absolutely! Perhaps I just find it a lot more rewarding that I found it without any help, rather than needing a silly little trophy to hint me how to get it. Is the insecurity that great that you NEED something to show to your friends that you actually accomplished some particular thing in a game?

Your arguments are missing the broader aspects: There were two types of games that I'd consider detrimental in the last gen. Wii had shovelware motion games, and the other two consoles had, as it's been called "trophy fodder" games. Oh, you want to bring those over to the platform that I play on? Get lost! The last thing that we need is ANOTHER reason to introduce poor, often rushed games to the shelves that people will buy up in the pursuit of "trophy hunting". It gives publishers the wrong impression of what the market wants.

What you perceive to be the truth and what happens in the real world are in fact two different things. You willing it to be so does not make it happen...

I dont see your point.

Its a fact that they dont have the joy to collect trophies, its impossible unless they switch consoles. my quote is factually accurate.

Its a shame you wrote another pointless comment based on another 'carrot'

And youre never going to accept that games are not created with trophies in mind are you? What about all the bad games that came out before trophies were introduced to PS3?

And once again, you bring up looking at the trophy list when I already told you that you dont have to view it. - lets see if you can repeat this 100 more times.
