I think it's really up to Intel right now to follow AMD, once they have it enabled, then developers will get onboard.
Unfortunatly, much to my chargrin, AMD is such a small player in the CPU space, so they aren't going to be doing allot of market influencing.

AMD can't, but the thing to remember here is that other members of the HSA foundation are very big and important players in the mobile market (Samsung, ARM and Qualcomm), so it's possible to see devs coding to use HSA just because of that, and then bring it to their PC software.
