Vita has better third-party support then 3DS.

Perhaps a silly question. Is the Vita as powerful as a PS3 if it gets PS3 ports?
If that is true perhaps Nintendo could go handheld only next gen (as in, a handheld more powerful than the Wii U could be done at an acceptable price)
