I don't think it matters that much.
I have 4 3DS games, Pokemon Y, Fire Emblem Awakening, Donkey Kong Country Returnds 3D, Street Fighter IV.
Only one is not a Nintendo title, Street Fighter by Capcom.
The next 4 games I plan on buying are all Nintendo, Ocarina of Time 3D, Link between worlds, Kid Icarus Uprising, and Wario Land III on the Virtual Console.
I also have 4 Virtual Console games. Link's Awakening, The Legend of Zelda, Megaman 2, Castlevania. 2 Nintendo Games, one Konami, one Capcom.
My fear about getting console ports is I don't think they will look good on the small screen. DKCR returns works fine, but in most cases it doesn't, like the 3DS Rayman Games.
