As for losers... They could all be considered losers depending on the circumstances.
If we're talking units sold and market share: Nintendo
If we're talking profits in gaming division: Microsoft
If we're talking from a company standpoint: Sony
I'd have to say it's an interesting predicament. From a company standpoint... Sony isn't in good financial shape as a company. However PS4 looks to be a very positive item for Sony. They will likely sell the most home consoles, and should produce profit in their games division.
Microsoft likes to throw money everywhere to try to gain exclusives and extra content, but I'm not really sure that's paying off. They're a very healthy company otherwise, so I guess they can afford burning money on their gaming aspirations. They'll sell more units than Nintendo, but less than Sony... they lose overall, because they'll likely have the lowest profit, if any.
Until Nintendo proves otherwise... I'd have to say they're always in a winning position with profits. From a units sold prospective though, they'll be viewed as the big losers in the console market with the Wii U. However, Nintendo is the most profitable of the three, and have been for years despite market share at times. This can be attributed to their success on handhelds and the Wii.
