More people but third party games on Sony/mircosoft than there actual games. If they had no third party they would have half the install base. Square is starting to build a cloud system on IPhone market. Just for gaming in specific. Many tommorrow I will post some other companies talking about moving there games on iPhone products.

But they do have 3rd parties and with that they have it all. There won't be a future gaming without Mario, Halo or Naughty Dog.

Tablets might be reaching the graphic fidelity of consoles by the end of this cycle but by that time the new cycle is already far in development and will push the boundaries further still. The gaming market might branch out more but the core gamers will stay at their consoles and PCs and I don't see the core gaming market shrinking anytime soon and it is not shrinking it will stay profitable.
