And besides, the numbers don't add up anyway if they were tracking it.  The numbers we have are more than FFX/X2 dual pack but less than the dual pack + FFX standalone + FFX2 standalone.  A lot less.

And you can guarantee the next "why do devs make Vita games they all sell crap" arguments will cite "woeful" FFX/X2 sales quoting this site...

I'm really surprised by how strong Vita has started in 2014 in Japan. There may be the "ooh that's an awfully big drop" people comparing with last week, but it's now 3 weeks since the last significant release and there should be plenty of games to help keep the sales healthier over there in 2014. It's currently massively up year on year with 2013 isn't it? And given how awful sales were for most of last year, even now it'd have to stop selling entirely for 2013 to catch up.

Slow burner?

Correct, it'd done 107k this year versus 44k last year, an advantage of 63k which is already enough to cancel out one of february's price cut / Soul Sacrifice weeks and we've only had 2 weeks, plus PSV's lineup this year appears to be stronger, so I'm certainly optimistic
