That's not a valid point at all. That's like saying entity A is a dog, a dog is a creature, has fur, makes noises. A cat is also a creature, has fur and makes noises, so entity A must also be a cat. It's not a logically sound argument, and I really can't believe that you're actually arguing this point, it only ridicules your defense even further. Honestly, you were making better ground when you were backpedalling on previous statements..

You're saying that trophy collecting is just as enthralling as the game itself? Well like I said before, if it gets your rocks off, more power to you...but you're right, I don't like something that interferes with the asthetics of a game, can openly give spoilers away, is mostly nothing but trivial tasks (could even be referred to as "chores"), creates fabricated class ladders in a market of skewed valuation and can give game developers the wrong idea of what the market wants. 

You're the one who made the comparison to games with your nonsensical "games change memory too". I suggest that you read the previous reply once again, this time CAREFULLY, as the problems I've stated stem from the achievements/trophies themselves, not from the fact that they're "unlike games". You're making that generalisation yourself.

Is your last question a real question, or are you attempting to do the "team mentality" thing again? I've made numerous posts about how certain things can ruin the gameplay element in cases (Wii remote, a noncooperative console OS, certain contollers on larger hands, buttons like the DS3 shoulder pads or the 3DS power button functionlity). In other words, I'm not spoonfed a bunch of corporate bullshit and just sit around and take it. Corporate entities don't care about your feelings; why do you care about theirs?

good logic with the cat and dog, except im not sure where I said trophies were games, ive used the terms 'plus' and 'feature' a lot, so im disappointed you havent taken notice of that.

You still havent explained why you do such a trivial thing such as playing games. It bears no achievement and has been ridiculed much more than trophies.

you cant see that the same argument youre using against me to not approve of trophies is being used by millions of people around to world to not approve of games in general which is a shame on you.

The feelings are towards a hobby, not a company. I just pick sony consoles because they release the most exclusives in the genres of games I like.
