Ok i will say one more thing as its only hope i have of this game beeing sucessful. It NEEDS to be Elder scrolls!
Skyrim and Oblivion give you a small tutorial intro that is quite cool. After that you only have a quest telling you to go to a far off place and you are on your own! You talk to people and get quests, if you cant get quests you go to the tavern and get information on quests.
That non-linearity and exploration is what the elder scrolls online NEEDS to be. Nothing else is acceptable.
Seriously Zenimax... you have the whole formula right there on the single player games. Do EXACTLY that! Forget WoW, forget MMO conventions. Do Elder Scrolls.
Also... make that combat visceral.
