Are you bored of CGI animated films?

I like cgi in animation best when it's used to enhance the 2D art style. The most recent animated movie I watched is Wolf children. It looks amazing, perfect blend of cgi and hand drawn backgrounds and characters.


The disadvantage of full cgi movies is that they lead to sequelitis, too easy to re-use to same assets. But I'm not bored of originals yet. The more animation the better. I do wish Disney would go back to hand drawn + cgi, it has that instant charm, while cgi takes a lot longer to warm up to.
