At this time traditional animation is timeless and refined while CG ages as progress is made with technology. Only Pixar for me counters this because majority of their films are just so good. Toy Story looks antiquated, but the characters and all pull me through. Traditional animation from my childhood (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King) feel like they could be released now.
I really wish traditional animation at least had a place. For now least I have Japan to continue the tradition of jaw dropping animation.
